Maitland Multi Multi-Cache

This cache has been archived.

Pawn-of-Chaos: WP1 was still there... but unreadable. WP2 was still there and in good condition. The Final, well that's a story.

The Final was located on the west side of the park, alongside the freeway, where it is denser with brush and trees. I found the container and checked it out. It was in good condition. But as I was standing there, I heard a twig break nearby. I paused a moment. Now, I know the freeway is right next to me and airplanes are flying overhead from the airport, but I could have sworn I heard a low, growling noise. Without thinking, I started to shake the geocache vigorously. There were a few trinkets inside, so it made quite a rattling noise. A motion caught my attention out of the corner of my eye about 20' away from me. I turned just in time to see something dart away. I didn't get a really good look at it, but is was low (not like a deer) and a light tan color. Now, I'm not saying it was the #MKELion but that was just a little bit weird for me....

Oh, PS: This cache is being archived.
