The two-time Olympic gold medal winners will be a formidable opponent as they dropped no points and only conceded one goal in ten qualifying matches. Sweden’s closest brush with WWC glory came at USA 2003 when they lost to Germany 1-0 in the final on a golden goal. They are the 5th-ranked team in the world and will compete in a group with the USA, Nigeria and Australia and will play opening round games in the west.
