Once parked up the route to the cache is through a gate and along a well used path. This path is actually the route of the narrow gauge railway that used to serve the brickworks, and evidence of the line can be seen along the route. The cache location is not far from the entrance to the Brick Pond woods. You'll need to rummage around slightly off the track, but be careful of the old brickwork relics that are scattered around.
The cache itself is a regular sized clip box filled with a number of toys and trinkets, and a pen, pencil and log book to record your visit. Please hide the cache in the manner it was found.
Once you've found the cache, explore the rest of the woods and discover the ruins of the kilns, flues, windpump and other parts of the brickworks that are sited around the ponds. We hope you enjoy your visit to this wood!
