Geocache Description:

This geocache has gone missing and we are working on adding a new one. Sorry!

So you like to play disc golf, do ya?  Well, if you're like me and can't keep the disc very...straight, then you may end up out of bounds and right near our geocache.  Good luck!

The cache is a large(r) container in what is considered out of bounds by the disc golf course.  I play here a lot, and noticed there is not a geocache nearby.  I suggest playing the course (gets crowded on weekends) and geocache along the way!

The Course

San Francisco’s first disc golf course is located in Golden Gate Park in Northern California. A tightly wooded 18-hole course, this course is fun for beginners and a challenge for experts. The course has recently been expanded to a permanent, 18-hole course and was officially opened on March 31st, 2007

The Golden Gate Disc Golf Course was built and is maintained completely by volunteers. The SFDGC hosts course work parties every other month to keep the course looking in great shape. Work parties are a great way to get to know some new disc golfers as well as a chance to help give something back to disc golf in San Francisco. If you take the time to play the course, please take the time to volunteer.
