This cache is part of the Red Sox geoart and is NOT at its posted coordinates. Please do not go there but instead, solve for the coordinates below. There is plenty of room near the cache to pull your car off the road safely but beware that during wet times, some wading may be necessary.

Hall of Famer Bobby Doerr played his entire 14 season career for the Boston Red Sox. He did miss one season due to:
A – a torn ACL in 1948 => N27° 35.286 W80° 50.365
B – the players' strike of 1947 => N27° 35.266 W80° 50.345
C – serving in the military during World War II => N27° 35.246 W80° 50.385
D – playing wide receiver for the the New York Giants football team => N27° 35.226 W80° 50.325
