Geocache Description:

This cache is part of the Red Sox geoart and is NOT at its posted coordinates. Please do not go there but instead, solve for the coordinates below. There is plenty of room near the cache to pull your car off the road safely but beware that during wet times, some wading may be necessary.

During the Red Sox "Impossible Dream" season of 1967, Tony Conigliaro was hit in the face by a pitch, causing a severe eye injury and derailing his career. Though he would make a dramatic comeback from the injury, his career was not the same afterwards.

During his comeback, the triangle of bleacher seats in centerfield of Fenway Park, sections 34 & 35, became known as Conig's Corner because:
A) that was where Conigliaro had hit his last home run before the injury => N 27° 32.508 W 080° 48.803
B) it was covered in a green tarp to give Conigliaro better contrast to see the baseball => N 27° 32.518 W 080° 48.813
C) 34 & 35 had been Conigliaro's numbers while playing for the Red Sox => N 27° 32.528 W 080° 48.823
D) his family had purchased season tickets to the entire two sections => N 27° 32.538 W 080° 48.833
