Geocache Description:

In 2004, after losing the first three American League Championship Series games and down 4-3 in the ninth inning to the New York Yankees, Kevin Millar drew a walk from closer Mariano Rivera. Dave Roberts came in to pinch run for Millar and stole second base. Bill Mueller singled him home and the game went into extra innings.

In the 12th inning, David Ortiz hit a walk-off two-run home run. Sixteen hours later the two teams were back on the field playing yet another marathon game, ending once again with a Ortiz walk-off hit, forcing Game 6. The Red Sox went on to win the two games in New York, swept St. Louis in their first World Series Championship in 86 years and completed what is now known as the Most Dramatic Comeback in Sport's History.
