Oh my! What a day! I had to go to Jackson first thing to pick up a gift for a very special friend. So, I headed north from my house. Since I had so much to get done, I left my house at three in the morning. In addition to the slippery road conditions, it was also very Foggy. I figured that was why I had seen only one other vehicle on the road. As I crossed over the river bridge, four deer ran out in front of me causing me to hit the brakes. I spun around eight times and when I came to a stop I was pointed the wrong way. Luckily I was not hurt, just badly shaken up. After getting myself calmed down, my truck turned around and headed in the right direction, I decided to stop for a cup of coffee. That cup of coffee turned into nine before I realized it. I had to get to Ground Zero by mid morning, so I headed out again. By this time, it was already eight in the morning and I knew I'd have to rush to get everything done I needed too. I had to head west to get to my destination, Ground Zero. After being stopped by eight traffic lights, this put me there just before nine o'clock. I got to the sales window just in time to get the last two concert tickets. All I had heard for over three months was how great this concert would be and anyone who was anyone would be there. As I drove away, patting myself on the back for doing this, it crossed my mind that this would be the biggest surprise of all time! As I headed back into our capital city I was stopped by some D.O.T. workers who had the road blocked. They informed me that I would be sitting there for some time and I might want to pull into the coffee shop for a bit. So, I took their advice and did just that. I got a cup of coffee and sat down at one of the booths. As I sat down, I noticed two brown shopping bags there in the seat. Things being like they are this day and time, I wasn't sure what I should do. There were six employees there in the store, so I asked each to take a look in the bags. They each took their turn looking into the bag and each shook their head and walked away without saying anything. Finally, I had to ask what was in the bags. I was told they were filled with the same kind of stuff I've been feeding to you all this time!
