Welcome to another Team Shipwreck Wherigo Cache in the Coachella Valley. This is a Team Shipwreck collaboration by Admin Vicki, boxerboy211, IT Bukibear, nevadanick and shipwreck77 (the Three Cacheteers), and their faithful admins and teckies, without whose help these would not be possible.
The legwork required for researching the stages was completed by boxerboy211. He also secured the approval of the Desert Memorial Park Cemetery Admin Office for placement of all stages. The Memorial Park is tourist friendly due to the celebrity status of some of their 'residents'.
Memorial Park hours are 6am to 5pm daily. You should be able to complete the Whereigo cartridge in approximately an hour or less, so plan accordingly. You really do not want to be locked inside these gates after closing !!
The cache is not at the posted coordinates. In order to find it, you'll need to complete a Wherigo cartridge of the same name. Click HERE to go to the cartridge page on the Wherigo.com site. This Whereigo is a bit more difficult than Art Wego in Palm Desert. The zones are smaller and the search for answers to the questions to proceed to the next zone are a bit harder to find.
This Wherigo will take you on a tour of 5 the headstones of some of the celebrities interred here starting with Ol' Blue Eyes. The final stage is a small container with a log and room for small swag. It will require a short walk but there is free parking along the streets.
