  While I was out driving this morning, I witness a true meaning of being thankful. One that I have experienced, unfortunately, on more than one occasion. 

  There was a large SUV a little ways ahead of me and I saw a squirrel dart from the opposite side of the road in front of the SUV. Just when you thought the little guy was gonna make it, the right front tire caught its tail. The squirrel jerked back and what I believe was a piece of poop shot out from its backside. Of course its tail was only caught for a second, but in that moment I am sure it thought it was over. The last decision it had made in life was going to be a bad one. Then as quick as it was caught it was released and shot to the side of the road and safety. One of the many things I am thankful for besides my amazing family and friends is that, of the many bad decisions I have made in life, none have them have been my last...
