Six Legged Turtle of Queeny Traditional Cache
Strider: After 298 finds this cache has been removed from the park. The area it was in is once again horse pasture and nobody is to be in here. We got to play in this cool area for 4 years but the horses need some room. Thanks everyone for finding this cache!

There is some odd wildlife in this park, the oddest of which are the humans, but there is a 6 legged turtle about 30' from this cache. As you find the cache you can sit here and see the turtle.
While this cache is close to Weidman Rd. there is a fence between the road and the cache, please do not enter from the west, and park in the park itself.
This cache is in a former horse pasture that is now open to everybody. Permission has been given from the park superintendent for cache placement. There are some signs on the gates but with the gates open we are welcome to enter.

Special permission to hide caches in St. Louis County parks is NOT needed as long as the Groundspeak rules are followed. "Blanket Permission" has been worked out in advance with the park service. DO NOT CALL THE PARK as they cannot handle the calls. The Groundspeak cache reviewer does need to know exactly how and where the caches are hidden and what type of containers are used. The geocaching liaisons will notify the park service of new caches. Remember NO AMMO BOXES or PVC PIPE caches. |
