At the Corner Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Strider: Ok, this cache was muggled, stomped flat and rehidden a distance away. I found it accidentally searching for a new hiding spot. I am not going to replace it where it was, it was damaged and until I figure this out I placed a new cache near here and we will see how it goes.

Geocache Description:

An interesting place for a cache in this newly opened area of Queeny Park. You are looking for a old corner of fencing in a overgrown part of the park. Lots of deer in this area too. Please do not try to get this one from the road, there is another fence along the road. Also there is a small pond about 200' east of here.

This cache is in a former horse pasture that is now open to everybody. Permission has been given from the park superintendent for cache placement. There are some signs on the gates but with the gates open we are welcome to enter.

Warning

NOTICE: Please be respectful of the posted park hours. If you enter the park after hours you are trespassing. If you are stopped you can be ticketed or arrested and will put the future of geocaching in the parks in jeopardy.
Special permission to hide caches in St. Louis County parks is NOT needed as long as the Groundspeak rules are followed. "Blanket Permission" has been worked out in advance with the park service. DO NOT CALL THE PARK as they cannot handle the calls. The Groundspeak cache reviewer does need to know exactly how and where the caches are hidden and what type of containers are used. The geocaching liaisons will notify the park service of new caches. Remember NO AMMO BOXES or PVC PIPE caches.
