Tango
Everyone in Finland should know how to dance tango. No, Finns are not passionate like the Argentinians. In Finland tango is melancholic, but yet beautiful.
Tango singers are considered big stars. Each year Tangomarkkinat, a big tango singercompetition is held in Seinäjoki. The winners of the competition will be the Tango King and Queen of the year. Tango royalties have a great chance of a successful career as singers. To win this competition is a much bigger honor than winning Idols, Eurovision or any other talent competition.
Tango is not tango without a harmonica, a room full of people who are dancing and a singer with a great vibrato. Many of the best Tango singers are Kaale (Finnish romani).
While you wait for the bus you can see a video of the Tango royalty of 2014. The lady is singing her last song in the finals, accompanied by the king. She will soon find out she has won and will then be crowned.
