View now sadly without a Zoo Traditional Cache

This cache could be done as a cache and dash though the dashing part is all uphill as most caches on Lanzarote seem to be.

m#sh a resident of Lanzarote has kindly offered to help with the maintenance of this cache for which Jackie and myself are extremely grateful.

A cache placed to celebrate my birthday {Kev}  whilst on holiday on the island.

Wonderful views of La Graciosa a volcanic island located just 2 km north of here across the strait named El Río.

Streets and roads on La Graciosa are unpaved sand so motor vehicles are prohibited excepting for a limited handful of licensed vehicles for special purposes. Access to the Island is by a 35-minute ferry crossing from Orzola sadly the day we had booked the seas were too rough so we went caching around the cliffs looking over the island never to actually visit during our stay but our cache now looks out on the island 24/7

The cache also looks over the Guinate zoo where you can hear the animals and look over the enclosures......sadly since placing our cache this lovely zoo is now closed no doubt a sign of the times we are very sad to hear of its demise
