Welcome to Russiaville. The town was laid out in 1845 and founded as a town sometime between 1860 and 1870. It was a Quaker settlement prior to the Civil War and was all be destroyed by an EF4 tornado on Palm Sunday, 1965. The town is home to Western High School, home of the 14 time state champion Western Marching Panther marching band, the 2012 Class 3A State Baseball Champions and numerous individual state champion wrestlers and other athletes. The town has a total land area of 0.81 square miles and is located in Honey Creek Township. This cache is hidden is memory of my father, who passed away 09March2015.
