This cache has been archived.

Nomex: Hi
As there's been no cache to find for months, I'm temporarily archiving this to keep it from continually showing up in search lists. Just contact us when you have the cache repaired, [RED]and assuming it still meets the guidelines[/RED], we'll be happy to unarchive it.

Don't hesitate to email me via the link on my Profile if you have any questions. [red]Please be sure to include the cache name and GC Code, or better yet, the URL of the cache page.[/red]

Thanks for your cooperation!

Geocache Description:

A challenging find in a park that has kind of been forgotten about.. Bring your own pen to sign log book. **You may or may not need a reaching device to get this one, or a brave kid to climb to get it**

-SP is home to CSJ's Heritage Tree HT-10-001, a 55" Quercus Lobata (aka Valley Oak) which was part of a bicentennial project by the International Society of Arboriculture and the National Arborist Association (currently known as the Tree Care Industry Association) to commemorate the United States Declaration of Independence in 1776, and the signing of the Constitution in 1787; the goal was to find trees that were living "witnesses" to these historic events. Once found, each tree was to be marked with a bronze plaque designating it as a duly recognized bicentennial tree. I tried searching online for a master list, but I'm not sure one exists--in the online world, at least.
