BowenScout's Coincidence of street names Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Bowen Scouts: Geocache has been vandalised, some contents strewn around, container missing. Lid was chained to fence and still there... just have to find a way to weld/chain the whole thing to prevent it happening again.

Geocache Description:

A nice easy cache to start with.

Moving Scouting into the 21st Century by introducing them to geocaching. Cache is a Mega Bison tube with a few trinkets. Thanks for including us in your search.

Scouting began in the UK in 1907. The Founder of Scouting is affectionately known as "BP" - Sir Robert Stephenson Smyth Baden Powell. We are located on the corner of Powell St - now isn't that a coincidence?

Scouting in 1907 was appropriate to the youth of the times. Scouting in the 21st Century, whilst upholding the same values now includes activities relevant to todays youth - such as Geocaching. If you have children aged 6 to 26, why not consider checking out your local Scout Group so they can enjoy the fun and adventure? All Scout Groups across Australia welcome adults who are willing to volunteer their time. All you need is to be eligible to hold a current, valid Working With Children Clearance from the relevant state authority and some states also require Police Clearances.

Happy Geocaching from the Bowen Scout Group!
