The estate was once owned by Thomas Boleyn father of Anne Boleyn. A little further on you will pass Yaldham Manor a 14 century manor house. There are good views of the house and the large yew topiary as you walk away from the rear of the garden.
The route I took is fairly obvious and easily plotted on OS Explorer map 147. The route does involve a couple of steep descents and ascents of the North Downs and later a steady ascent back to the car park. The paths are not suitable for wheelchairs or strollers.
This is a small cache and does NOT have a pencil or pen so please bring your own.
The route can easily be shortened by missing out some of the caches.
