Geocache Description:

You are looking for a magnetic micro.

The church itself is built on the site of an old quarry which has been completely infilled. The same is true of the playing field on the other side of the road.

Taken from their web site:

Saints Peter & Paul Catholic Church is in Combe Down, in the Deanery of Bath. It serves the areas of Combe Down, Odd Down, Claverton Down, as well as the outlying villages of Bath.

The Parish Church of Ss Peter and Paul was designed in the post Vatican II style, and consecrated in 1976. The Exterior of the church is simple with little decoration, and until recently when new signs were fitted, not known by many to be a church. The interior of the church continues the simple theme, but is very striking with the whole congregation directed to the sanctuary. The church is flooded with light from windows along each side as well as from a skylight above the sanctuary. The simple style of the church interior is enhanced with a number of carvings, sculptures and paintings.

If anybody would like to expand this series please do, I would just ask that you could let Sadexploration know first at churchmicro@gmail.com so he can keep track of the Church numbers and names to avoid duplication.

There is also a Church Micro Stats & Information page found via the Bookmark list

Congratulations to Cacher_Penguin for being the first to find!
