It's time for the annual Pocono's Easter Egg Hunt, the 11th one!
This year, the egg hunt will take place at the West End Regional Park on Evergreen Hollow Rd. and will begin at 1:00 pm on Sunday, April 12, 2015, and end at 2:00 pm. For those who have not been here before, there are many, many caches to find, as well as in the surrounding area.
Like last year, we do realize that it is after Easter but since the winter weather brought us a ton of snow and the ground will be muddy and soft for some time, we thought it best to do this after the holiday.
Unlike last year, we will not be having a pot luck lunch. Unfortunately there are no restroom facilities available for us at the park. There are quite a few “fast food” eateries in town if you need to use such facilities as well as grab a bite to eat.
The event begins at 1:00 PM and the Egg Hunt will begin at 1:15 PM sharp. Be sure you're on time, as egg hunts in previous years were over in less than 2 minutes.
Once again, we are hoping for a raffle for kids and adults. If anyone has anything to donate, please let us know. It will be greatly appreciated!
Also, if any Easter bunnies would like to place nearby caches, please feel free to do so and let us know so we can include the coords in some eggs.
Please let us know how many kids and adults are in your group when you log the event. Also, you might want to keep this event on your watchlist for event updates and information on the weather. Hope to see everyone soon!
