Geocache Description:

The boardwalk is all steel, so there are many places to place a magnetised container. You are looking for a small container (actually, the ubiquitous mint tin) hidden along the steel boardwalk. You do not need to get off the boardwalk to reach it. In fact, please do not get off the boardwalk.

THE CACHE:

This cache is the fourth cache I have placed out there in the world and is one of a batch of 5 I have just placed.

At the time of placement (March 2015) the development of this new residential estate was in full swing. There are new houses going up everywhere. The development includes new paths, steel boardwalks and interpretation. All nicely done in my opinion. I especially like the boardwalks and interpretation. There are some nice sculptures too.

The boardwalk is all steel, so there are many places to place a magnetised container. You are looking for a small container (actually, the ubiquitous mint tin) hidden along the steel boardwalk. You do not need to get off the boardwalk to reach it. In fact, please do not get off the boardwalk.

The cache is located somewhere along one of the steel boardwalks. This should be a fairly straightforward and easy find.

If you are coming by car there is parking available nearby. Walking and cycling right up to the cache along the boardwalk is highly recommended.

It is not possible for people in wheelchairs to reach this one.

You will need to be careful that builders and nearby residents do not observe your suspicious behaviour. Few people use the boardwalk, but there will be the occasional early morning jogger, dog walker and others out exercising.

You’ll need to bring your own pen or pencil to sign the log sheet. There is not much room for anything else.

Hint removed on 15 June 2015 as everyone was saying how easy it was.
