Something caught my eye as i walked through a cache devoid zone..a find member of the Pseudopanax family.
Once just a popular hiking trail with locals, its now part of the Te Araroa trail.
Parking: Mt Tamahunga or Rodney road end
Timing: Day time only, all reserve access crosses private farm land.
