På åkern söder om dig ser du en stenvals, förklädd till reklampelare. De flesta ser inte att det är en vals från en pappersmaskin som står där. Tanken var att den skulle representera Hallstavik och pappersbruket där.
Öster om den står kommunvapnet. Ett upp-och-ned vänt ankare. Varför ankaret är placerat som det är råder det delade meningar om. Bl.a. så spekuleras det i att detta skulle symbolisera en stad på väg eftersom det kan vara symbolen för ett skepp i rörelse samt att ett ankare hängt på detta sätt ser ut som bokstaven T som är den första bokstaven i det historiska ortnamnet. In the field south of you, you will see a stone rolling, disguised whit a lot of advertisement around. Most do not see that there is a roll of a paper machine that stands there. The idea was that it would represent Hallstavik and paper mill there. In the east direktion from the stone roll there is the municipality weapon of Norrtälje. Why the anchor is placed as it is there are divided opinions about. It is speculated that this would symbolize a city on the road because it could be the symbol of a ship in motion and that an anchor hanging in this way looks like the letter T, which is the first letter of the historical name of the town.
