While taking a drive through Newport on a chilly March day, I noticed this sign welcoming me to Goat Island, although Goat Island is over the bridge which is beyond this sign. I've never even heard of Goat Island, so I took a drive over and checked it out, it wasn't very active on this day, but it does look like it is a very popular spot in the summer.
This cache is located by Storer Park, and provides a great view of the Newport Bridge as well. So enjoy Goat Island, and as always, happy caching!
