June 1972 - PDoc and I had just finished seventh grade - (although we did not know each other until ten years later) - and we were ready for summer to get into full swing. But then Agnes hit..... She was a mighty hurricane. I remember my father driving us down to see the tin bridge in New Cumberland... What we could see of it anyway. PDoc and I did not know each other then, but we share memories of this storm. It was a mess - no power - water everywhere.
At the spot where the cache is located, you will see flood water markings - Amazing to think about the river reaching those levels.... From the cache location, you have a clear view of Agnes' mark....
