Quipolly Dam Traditional Cache

Quipolly Dam recreation area is approx 10 klms from Quirindi along the Borah Creek Road and well worth a visit with a lovely picnic area and is also suitable for a spot of fishing.

Quipolly Dam was built in 1956 to replace the Old Quipolly Dam further up the creek.Quipolly Dam is currently Werris Creeks water supply. Old Quipolly Dam is approx 2 kms further up Lowes Creek road and is a haven for bird life with a bird hide for viewing. Quipolly Dam upgrade was opened in 2013 and boasts a lovely recreation area with pathways and picnic tables and toilet facilities. Go through the gates at the parking area and take the path to the left which will lead you to GZ.
