The park covers an area of 400 acres with several miles varied walks catering for all ages and abilities. Enjoy a mixture of scenery as you pass through from parkland path to riverside walk, woodland and forest or open hill to loch shore.
Located within the visitor centre is a display on the history of Eglinton Country Park, covering aspects dating back to who held title of the land at the time of the Norman Conquest, through the years of expansion, improvement right up to the present day with details of the developement towards country park status.

This set of caches takes you away from the main part and to a not so well used part of the park. The paths here can be wet, muddy & slippy so appropriate footwear is recommended.
As well as the main parking for the park I have included alternative parking which has space for one or two cars.
