A mass exodus of Egmont Village was planned; it’s just that the wheels did not turn and this is the result, a somewhat stalled exit.
Perhaps they are ready in case Mt Taranaki (Egmont) blows again for a quick get-away; I think you can add to the collection if you want.
This cache is situated on the edge of Egmont Village and a trip up the mountain can start very close by.
Cache is within reach from the roadside, no reason to enter the property. Parking is difficult,traffic very fast, northbound maybe a park and grab if you are lucky, southbound there is a pull in just south of GZ and before the bridge, but traffic is fast so please beware. Please bring a writing stick, FTF goes to Niscar, good fast work.
