This cache is placed just off part of the Bog of Frogs national looped walking trail in Howth.
The full walk is approx. 12km, starting at Howth DART station and takes in the very scenic walk along the coast of the peninsula (Of course, you don't have to walk 12km to get this cache! :) It's a short walk from Carrickbrack road to the cache)
Heading away from the cliffs back towards the start of the walk, you are led across Carrickbrack Road and around the base of Shielmartin Hill where this cache is placed. The BOF route continues across Howth Golf Club's course leading you to the area surrounding the back of Deer Park Hotel and back to Howth village. The walk is waymarked by purple arrows.
