Geocache Description:

A traditional Cache'n'dash along the top of the abbey wood Ridgeway.

This cache is along a public pathway which has just had a facelift so makes it much more a pleasing walk. Could be a great opportunity for a nice dog walk or day out with the kids. Path leads along family friendly pathways so why not make a day out of it?

Not many shops close by but is on a bus route so easy to reach anything required.

Not far away is lakes and parks and if you follow the Ridgeway through you will reach southmere with its lakes and horses and other amusements.

While the path is maybe wheelchair accessible but i would imagine its a very bumpy and uncomfy trip this might be same for pushchairs.

The cache is a small black and white film container contains a pencil but still wise to bring your own just along the public path.

Don’t forget to log your visit on here and in the paper in the cache, happy geocaching!
