REVENGE OF THE EASTERN SKUNK CABBAGE! Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

OReviewer: As there's been no cache to find for a long time or has had no owner response for at least 30 days, I'm archiving it to keep it from showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements.

Please note that if geocaches are archived by a reviewer or Geocaching HQ for lack of maintenance, they are not eligible for unarchival.

Geocache Description:

This traditional cache is located in Washington Crossing in the woods between Taylorsville Road and the canal tow path. It is about a quarter mile north of Colonial Farms. The area around this cache will be very swampy after a recent rain or snow melt, but in dry conditions the area around this cache should be fine. The cache is a size small with a blue lid. It also has a couple really cool trinkets and an official Geocaching log. Bring a pen or pencil.

This cache is dedicated to the Eastern Skunk Cabbage and the slightly revolting smell it gives off when stepped on. When the area around this cache is wet they will be EVERYWHERE. In late spring and summer these bloom into leafy green flowers.

This should be a fun hike through the woods. Watch out for thorns and bring a bad pair of shoes just in case area is wet.
