The Library chose this site because we wanted to hide caches in prominent places throughout Brookfield and what better spot than at the Zoo! The location of this cache also provides a safe place for cache seekers to safely seek out the cache without being in the way of Zoo traffic. It also is located adjacent to Brookfield Woods which provides a nice scenic location complete with trail path.
