Hesketh Park Southport
Southport is a beautiful seaside resort and has some fabulous Parks and Gardens and it will be nice to help to clean them up, then go along for a nice bit of lunch.
We have been asked if we can do some cutting of shrubs in the very nice rockery. They have a fence that needs some repair and a bit of litter picking would be a great idea. So if you want to come along and fetch some gardening gloves and a few small tools like loppers and spades it would be much appreciated.
Last year we all won an award for our efforts and this year we can win a similar award again which is a fabulous for the Geocaching community.
We will meet at the café at 11am and take it from there for approx. 2hrs
The café sells ice cream, cakes, tea & coffee. There are toilets close by (20p)
There is plenty of free parking round the outside of the park.
