The cache is hidden in a small village named "maple tree village" 楓樹里, Nantun Distinct 南屯區.
This cache is hid by the courtesy of the owner of "Honesty store" 誠實商店; be careful to open time (basically 7:00-19:00). The shop is non-profit and usually no staff, you don't have to eat/drink/buy something but only signing log book is OK, however don't disturb other customer enjoying silent time there.

Around the GZ is very silent and historical village. Please enjoy the shrine 楓興宮, walk along the river 麻園渓 and old town.
The area "maple tree village" 楓樹里 is named after a small temple "maple temple" 楓興宮 near the GZ. The area still remains old style beautiful Taiwanese houses, and some of them are reformed to nice coffee and tea shops. The area is one of the oldest region in Taichung. (visit link)
Between Lugang port 鹿港 and 葫蘆墩 (current Fengyuan 豐原), the area had served hostel and rest facility for traveling merchants. Other famous sightseeing spots are 犁頭店麻芛文化館 old culture center and 萬和宮 temple (up about 2km north there).
On the GZ, there is a small shop "Honesty store" 誠實商店 - not the shop staffs are honest (basically there is nobody), the visitors are required to be honest. If you want to have coffee or eat small cake there, you pay money to the "honest vase" 誠實壺, boil water, serve coffee and take cake by yourself. Don't forget to wash cup and saucer and return. In the shop, there is an interesting balance sheet that shows how the people are honest... Also some small things (Taiwanese old products, postcards, etc.) and products made from local agricultural things (such as 麻芛 (mua-inn) (visit link) ) are sold.
The cache is available while the shop is open. While the shop is open, you can freely go into the shop, find the cache container, sign & exchange stamp. The cache is locked so muggles not to open the bottle, you need the 3-digit number described in the hint. The cache container is a plastic cylinder of 15cm height x 10cm.
