This cemetery is a private family cemetery of the Graham family. The Graham family have lived in the Taos area for many generations. For many years they owned and operated a grocery store and butcher shop in the Northern part of Taos. The butcher shop was famous for it's very high quality and many kinds of meats.
One of the oldest graves was in 1856 and there are 4 unknown white crosses. We personally know some of the Graham family.
Spirit caches are a series placed at or near NM cemeteries in hopes of paying respect to the Pioneer Ancestors having "gone" on before us, and, possibly picking up a bit of history of the area.
