Up on a tall hill sits the Dunabar Hill Volunteer Fire Department, and next to it is a memorial commemorating past firefighters. It sits in a beautiful and quaint area where the Dunbar Church is and a very peaceful area. A nice view.
The location is historic, ever since the Dunbar Fire Association began in 1926. The memorial is held up by the current members and It is just a beautiful place to be in all the seasons. Quiet and peaceful. I always found it relaxing. The container is small and pretty easy to find when you notice how in the open it is. Quick journey, no hills, just a 10 foot walk from the lot.
