I was long time looking for a place to put the geocache which would be perfect not just for cruisers,but as well,for the people who are comming to visit Tortola for a longer time or local geocachers. And this one seemed to be great spot to create one.
The cache is in small local park in between of 2 banks from one side and from another side of the parking lot another one,and from across the street another one. So you will be in a heart of Road Town. You cant be more in the center of the center itself.
This park has a name of Noel Lloyd, a local activist, who led a protest movement forcing the local government to drop the plan of local authorities to lease Tortola To Ken Bates - English bussiness man,,who wanted to lease Tortola for 199 years.
You can find the statue of Noel Lloyd as well as small Big Ben donated by local Rotary club.
The cache is small container (I used the container from the beads, as I am making jewlery as well). The hide is quite simple,just try to be little bit stealthy (as the park is never empty).
The cache is available 24/7 all year around
