Geocache Description:

You are looking for a large container which has enough room for travel bugs and trade items. You can place travel bugs in the container or hang them on the hooks, whichever you want. Please be aware there are no public restrooms at this stop. Cache is placed with landowner's permission so please be respectful of his place of business.

Back in my day, Hwy 70 was the major thoroughfare for folks traveling from the mountains to the piedmont, and to big towns such as Winston and Raleigh. We used to get lots of traffic through here, and this place was once a busy restaurant, serving both locals and travelers alike. However, decades ago the interstate came and changed all that. Now folks are always in a rush, people don't slow down to see a small town anymore. But everyone needs to stop and take a "rest" every now and then. Stop here and rest a spell, let your travel bugs rest too. But please, knock first!
