This is the first cache I have hidden and wanted to start out in a scenic area that is close to home. It is a traditional cache that should be a nice park and grab for anyone traveling on I-75. It also serves the purpose of fulfilling a requirment for the Boy Scouts Geocaching Badge! Hope you all enjoy.
This is a wonderful spot to pull off of I-75 and enjoy the view. Sunset is the perfect time to enjoy this area. It is located around the parking lot area of a Township Hall so if there are cars in the lot and it appears that there is a function scheduled please come back at another time so as to not disturb the participants. There is a hill located behind the hall building and the board has requested that no one climb on it, the cache is not located very near the building itself. Also, there is a drainage ditch that runs along the edge of the driveway and the board has asked that no one walk in that area as it may become dangerous if there is a lot of run-off or rain. This cache is in a small lock top container that has a few small toys, a CITO trackable tag, a log book and pencil. It is located about 35 feet from the edge of the pavement and there is some barbed wire from an old fence around the area so please use caution when searching. Take a moment to enjoy the view and happy caching!
