On my occasional work-related visits to London I often like to hold a pub event and see who turns up- I've made a few friends this way in recent years and I'd love to meet you. The pub (The Union Tavern) serves food (and drinks!) so we can grab a bite together and chat away about all things geocaching. No need to order food in advance. There will be an area reserved for us so look out for the odd folks sharing coins and the geocaching logo!
Bring any trackables that you have that need moving on. I'm happy to take some to China and Hong Kong although I can't promise I'll be able to find a cache big enough to drop them in. I'm hoping to hold an event in Hong Kong, though, so could easily pass some on there!
There'll be a FTF prize, drawn randomly as a free raffle at 9pm ish, so don't forget to grab a ticket. One ticket per caching team. If you've never been to an event before, it'd be great to meet you. Just say you're a "newcomer" on your will-attend log and we'll make sure that someone takes you under their wind. Remember, we were all newbies once!
