Hard Way Down #1 Traditional Cache

This was to be the first in a series of caches that will be laid between my home in West Wales and Ghana in West Africa. I am travelled overland by motorcycle between the two.

During my trip I raised money for a charity working with Ebola orphans and to met fellow Scouts in many of the countries I visited. The cache initially contained several Scout related items.

The lane is a dead end with limited turning opportunities so its best to use the lay-by on the main road and walk up; there is a way-point for this lay-by. Please be careful the road is busy and there is no footpath; the lane is very quiet though. Some people have commented about the cache being close to the bungalow - don't worry, the cache owners live there - give us a wave - we know what you are up to :-)

My route took me through Europe to Morocco, and then down the West Coast of Africa as far as Ghana. Most people travel down the East Coast but I decided to take "The Hard Way Down" - Hence the name of the cache. During my travels I did a daily blog.
