Welcome to Ålesund!
This is the first in my series of Ålesund city tourist caches. Ålesund is visited by a lot of tourists every year, especially from cruise ships such as Hurtigruten and so forth.
If you visit all caches in this series, you'll experience a big portion of Ålesund city.
It would be great if as many nationalities as possible will visit and log this cache!
The cache is placed close to the cruise ship docks, so it will be easy for visiting tourists to reach.

Cruise ships in Ålesund
Location, versatility and professionalism have made Ålesund to the region's main port. Cruise ships of all sizes dock at the Cruise Terminal in the very centre of the town. The city has a long tradition as a cruise port. In 2016 it is expected that more than 117 cruise ships with well over 200,000 passengers want to dock in the city.
