Polar Bear - Helensburgh zoo Traditional Cache

Not many people know that there used to be a zoo in Helensburgh.  All the animals escaped and now live happily in the Fruin Hills.  If you are lucky you might catch a glimpse of them.

This is a series of family friendly caches, all situated a short distance from the path.  There are 12 in total, starting at Moose and ending at Gorilla.

Parking is available in the Hill House car park, please check the sign for the times the car park is open, it varies depending on the time of year.  Alternative parking is available on Upper Colquhoun street.
