From No4 carry on through a metal gate into a small field. The path skirts to the right hand side with views of the severn river and Lincomb lock. The path then goes left around a small reservoir to a white stile with a cute yellow roof it is a gpss apparatus which unusually has two numbered id tags.
You are now on an equestrian cross country course, horses, riders and carriage drivers will be using the headlands please be aware of them and make sure they can see you in good time. Horses do have a mind of their own.
From here the footpath goes diagonally across the field in a SSE direction, if the field has been freshly cultivated the path may not yet be reinstated if so follow the headland to the left then right along the hedge line before turning left again to reach the far corner of the field. Walk into the Lincomb lane and turn right the footpath is on the opposite side and goes up along the side of the ménage.
You are looking for a traditional cache.
Our thanks to Mr Denby the parish path warden for his enthusiasm and encouragement in the production of these caches.
