Geocache Description:

The cache is at the posted coordinates, and can be signed at any time. But you must first meet the requirements below before you can log a smiley on this challenge.

This is the twelth of a series of challenges place in honor of some of our favorite albums. The challenge will be to find caches for each of the tracks on a given album. The rules are as followed:

  • You must find a different cache for each of the tracks of the album.
  • If the song title has multiple words, I will take any words in the title except conjunctions, articles and short prepositions. I may make exceptions to these rules. I will make the words I will accept in BOLD.
  • The words must appear in the cache title and can't be part of another word. (ie: dishrag is not allowed for rag.)
  • You can have found the caches at anytime.

Kid A by Radiohead is perhaps my favorite album from the last 20 years.  And I'm not alone in this feel.  In 2006, TIME named Kid A one of the 100 best albums of all time, calling it "the opposite of easy listening, and the weirdest album to ever sell a million copies, but it’s also a testament to just how complicated pop music can be." In 2009, The Guardian ranked it the second best album of the 2000s, calling it "a jittery premonition of the troubled, disconnected, overloaded decade to come. The sound of today, in other words, a decade early." Rolling Stone, Pitchfork and The Times ranked Kid A the greatest album of the 2000s.

I think all of these can be found currently in the Bay Area.

  1. "Everything in Its Right Place"
  2. "Kid A"
  3. "The National Anthem"
  4. "How to Disappear Completely" (Also accept Disappearing)
  5. "Treefingers" (I will accept either Tree or Fingers)
  6. "Optimistic" (There is a cache with this in the title very close to this cache.)
  7. "In Limbo" (I will accept In for this title.)
  8. "Idioteque" (I will also accept Idiot.)
  9. "Morning Bell"
  10. "Motion Picture Soundtrack"

I like challenges and I love music and this seems like a fun way to mix the two. Feel free to place your own cache in the series if you like the idea. (Feel free to use the banner as well.) I would love to see others favorite albums and would like the challenge of completing them.
