Wreckage Traditional Cache

Enjoy a walk down the Willow Creek Canyon trail to this one. Looks as though this was an old dump area at one time.

We have been walking and hiking the Willow Creek Canyon trail for a few months and decided to add a cache about 2.5 miles down the trail.  It is a nice walk and some interesting scenic views.  There are two other caches along the way also.  You can actually walk the entire trail to Lake Simtustus easily in a day.  It looks as though this area was an old dump at one time.  Lots of old tires, cars and parts here.  Take a lunch and enjoy the walk.  There is actually a shorter route but all uphill on the return to where you park.  It is only about 1.7 miles total.  Both trailheads are marked on for this cache.  I recommend the longer and more scenic route.
