Geocache Description:

Welcome to the Ebenezer Geo-Quest!

The purpose of the Ebenezer Geo-Quest (or EG-Q) is to show you some of the sights, history and scenery of this secluded part of the Hawkesbury.

This is one in a series of EG-Q caches; hope you enjoy the rural setting.

Nestled in a secluded part of the Charles Kemp Reserve, overlooking two small gullies and rock overhangs, lies a cache dedicated to the orb weaver species of spiders.

Orb weaver spiders include any spider that makes an orb web, which are round webs built with a radiating structure of spokes like a bicycle wheel. Spiders in this group of orb weavers included the St Andrew’s Cross Spider, Golden Orb Weaver, Silver Orb Spider, the well-known Garden Orb Weaver with their large sticky webs, Two-spined Spider, Six-spined Spider, Spiny Spider and the Leaf-curling Spider.

For the EG-Q Final Puzzle, remember the dominant colour of the of our little cache cover.

Note: Bring your own pen/pencil to sign the log.
