Geocache Description:

The First location of a 2 mile circular walk around Belton.

Location 1 is the bridge.  Built as part of the redevelopment of Belton and goes over where the railway formerly used to go.  If you look closely there is a mark on the bridge where about 25 years ago a vehicle struck it.  I'm sure it is still safe! The road originally was in a plan to join up to Station Road (near the caravan park) but when the Suffolk boundary moved and Belton became part of Norfolk the plan was modified and the New Road ended in a T-Junction visible from the bridge. Log removal tool and pen required. After finding / searching here make your way over the bridge towards number 2, turning right on to the close nearer the hide point.

Please note. This cache is safely found from the footpath at the footbridge level, not the road level
