Geocache Description:

A gentle stroll around this park beside Poole Harbour, with fabulous views across to Brownsea Island. You can start the walk at either stage 1 or stage 3 and end up back where you started. Enjoy!

Baiter Park is a large mainly grassy park next to one of the world's largest natural harbours. This area is very popular with tourists and locals alike, so you'll definitely be dodging muggles along the way, although the final cache location is mostly secluded. This walk can be completed by wheelchair users though they will probably need assistance to retrieve the cache.

Our nutty dog, a German Shepherd/Collie called Harry, spent his first 7 years cooped up in a small house on a city estate. We adopted him and brought him to Poole, where we introduced him to this fabulous place, and he learnt to run on Baiter. The first time he ran madly in every direction until he finally collapsed from exhaustion! From then on it was always his favourite place, and he enjoyed a brilliant retirement by the sea. So now that Harry is in doggy heaven (which we hope has a sea view!) Baiter seemed an obvious choice for our first cache. Congratulations to FTF DorsetJohn!
