Cache placed with the kind permission of the Woodland Trust. An easy cache to locate ideal for families as this is easy to reach and takes you into the delightful Harrocks Wood. This area is managed by the Woodland Trust and permission has been granted to place this cache here. Please treat the area with respect.
Cache placed with the kind permission of the Woodland Trust. You are looking for a small round weatherproof cache that is capable of temporarily holding small trackable items. The box is enclosed in a camouflage bag. Please make sure that you sign the log when you visit as well as logging your find at geocaching.com. The box is weatherproof but please make sure that you close it carefully as it would be a shame if the log book were to get wet in the lovely English summer weather. There are a few goodies in the cache to get things rolling. If you take something away please replace it with another item of equal or higher value. This is just geogaching etiquette. Whilst you are in the woods have a stroll around. It's a great place to burn off some calories and for the kids to let off some steam. You never know there may be another geocache within easy walking distance. Above all enjoy your time in these precious woodlands. Please be aware that GPS accuracy is very flaky around here. I have already had to update the co-ordinates for this cache. The tree cover plays havoc with the signals. You may need to widen your search.
